Al Jazeera Launches English Site

Al Jazeera has launched an English language website to provide 'spin-free' coverage of the war in Iraq. Since the conflict began, Al Jazeera's site has seen traffic from the US rise by 1,400% according to Internetnews.com.

But the site it seems is a victim of its own success. An onslaught of traffic and suspected attacks on the site resulted in intermittent availability over the course of the last two days.
