Google has slightly changed the way it displays video results with Universal search. More pages containing video - which were previously displayed as a normal search results - are now being displayed as video search results.R. Falconer
The following video results were found in Google Universal:

The top left result uses the text "Optical Express - Laser Eye Surgery from £395 ..." which appears to have been cleverly extracted from within the Flash file. This page would previously have been displayed as a normal search result.
Yahoo has had similar functionality for some time using Search Monkey. However webmasters had to make a decision to display their results this way. Google has instead decided to make up its own mind which results should be displayed as video and which should have the traditional layout.
In the example above it, Google appears to have made the wrong decision. The page in question might be better served as a normal result as the Flash movie it contains is only one part of the content on the page. The other video results on this page are for pages on video specific sites such as You Tube and Meta Café where the video is the main reason for the page.
What this example shows is that Google is continuing to expand the amount of data it is extracting from pages to show in search results and not necessarily relying on Microformats etc. to do this for it. Taking text from a Flash file and using it as a page title may be a first for the Mountain View giants too.
