ClipBlast! allies with MSN Video

ClipBlast! allies with MSN Video Internet video search platform ClipBlast! has announced an alliance with MSN Video.

Under the agreement, ClipBlast! will automatically index MSN Video content as soon as it becomes available.

As a result of the deal, users of the video search platform will be able to browse entertainment, sport, news and lifestyle content streamed from over 50 sources.

They will have access to resources including the Food Network, HGTV, National Geographic, NBC and MSNBC, Conde Nast publications and MTV Networks.

MSN product manager Karin Muskopf commented: "ClipBlast! gives people a new way to find exactly what they want from MSN Video.

"This powerful search platform brings the entire web under its roof, and we're delighted to be recognised by ClipBlast! as an important platform provider."

Founder of ClipBlast! Gary Baker added that the alliance with search engine provider MSN's video service will make his company's video search, browse and viewing capabilities more compelling.

He also said that, with its own extensive content relationships, MSN Video will deliver a wide range of content from its network to ClipBlast! and that letting users find the latest content on MSN Video is a key part of the process of bringing users "the entire video web".

ClipBlast! is due to showcase its products in September at the DEMOfall '07 event, described as "the premier launch venue for new products, technologies and companies".

The company was established in 2004 and is headquartered in California.
