Almost half of Americans believe that people are more likely to meet a partner online than in a single's bar.
An incredible one third of Americans reckon that an e-relationship is more likely to succeed than one that results from a chance meeting in a pub.
But when it comes to actually practicing what they preach, Americans are a whole lot more candid with only 27 percent of Americans admitting they would recommend it as a method of making friendships to single friends.
