Europeans will spend more money online in the run-up to Christmas than anyone else in the world.
This is the prediction of market analysis firm, GartnerG2
Europeans are expected to spend €10 bn in the fourth quarter of 2002. North American spend will drop to 2nd place, also with €10 bn in purchases.
Total online Christmas sales worldwide are expected to rise by 48.4% to £24.5 bn.
