Fast gets all flashy

Fast Search & Transfer the Norwegian developer of search and real-time filter technologies, today announced that Macromedia Flash content and applications can now be searched by users of showcase site AlltheWeb.com.

This makes AlltheWeb the first major search engine that enables users to perform searches in Macromedia Flash content and applications.

This functionality will automatically be made available to FAST's portal partners, including InfoSpace, Lycos, T-Online, and Tiscali.

So how long before Google follows suit?
