German Net Use Soaring

A new study from NetValue estimates the number of Germans using the Internet at home 16,3 Mill this April, up from 14,4 Mill April 2001.
The 17-million mark was broken at the end of April, with 682,000 new German users surfing the Internet from their homes that month, the company reported.


61,6% of home users were male. Age distribution as follows:

0 - 24 = 27,5%
25 - 34 = 23,7%
35 - 49 = 32,7%
over 50 = 16,2%
