Google launches a 'different kind of search experience'

Google launches a 'different kind of search experience' After rolling out its social network Google+ and new m-commerce tool Mobilize, Google's launched What Do You Love? - a website that promises a "different kind of search experience."

According to an official Google blog post, Mountain View produced the website after tinkering with tools to make web users aware of Google's wide range products and their search capabilities.

Now, Google searchers will be able to use What Do You Love? as a one-stop web shop for light-hearted search suggestions related to a single topic.

What Do You Love? will simultaneously return search results on Google Image Search, Google Maps, Google Alerts, Google Patent Search, Google Trends, Product Search, Sketchup, YouTube, Google Books, Google Translate, Google Blog Search, Picasa, Google News, Google Earth and Google Mobile Search as well as various other Google tools.

Mountain View man Andy Berndt blogged: "A while back, a few of us wanted to make a little tool that we could use to show just about anybody more of what Google makes.

"That led to some simple ideas, and then a few more ideas and ultimately, to a challenge: how we could connect people to products they might not know about and may find useful, but make the discovery relevant to them and keep it fun.

"Playing about with that challenge produced a website - What Do You Love? - that we hope meets at least some of the challenge by demonstrating how different Google products can show you different things about any particular search query."
