Google Suggest goes Japanese

Google has released a beta version of Google Suggest which uses Japanese characters. Google Suggest attempts to predict what the user is trying to search for even as the keywords are typed into the search engine.

Google Suggest in Japanese has been added to Google's Labs as a separate entity from the main Google Suggest beta test. Google and Yahoo are competing closely for the lucrative Asian market and both have made acquisitions to broaden their multilingual offerings.

Google Suggest in Japanese can be found in the search engine's Japanese domain name at http://www.google.co.jp / webhp?complete=1&hl=ja.
