Google Toolbar Version 4

"De parvis grandis acervus erit" - Out of small things a great heap will be formed.

Google has recently introduced a new update of it's Web tools. Google has updated its popular Google toolbar; and added some new features.
Google's new toolbar is for use with the Internet Explorer browser, and now also for the Mozilla Firefox browser. The Google toolbar 4 has all of the features of the previous version of the toolbar, as well as these new additional features:

1. The Custom buttons feature allows you to download or create custom search buttons - these buttons can search, or take you to, your favourite site; or display headlines from RSS feeds.
2. With the new toolbar you can Bookmark your favourite sites using your Gmail account. Your Google favourites will be stored in your Google mail account instead of on your computer.
3. Browse by name in the address bar - this is a useful new tool. If a webpage doesn't have an obvious URL you can simply type into the address bar the description of this page, and be taken straight to that page. For a phrase that Google doesn't recognise as being obviously pointing to a particular page you will be brought to a Google search with your phrase as the search term.
4. Another new feature of the new toolbar is the addition of search suggestions in your search box - this works just like Google's homepage history suggestions.
5. The new "send to" feature of the toolbar allows you to share an excerpt of, or all of, a webpage to: a Gmail account via email, your blog via blogger, or even to a mobile phone as an SMS. The send as SMS version is currently for US phone numbers only.
6. As I mentioned at the start, the new Google toolbar is now also available for use with Mozilla Firefox.

We recommend you take a look at the new toolbar soon...
