Google has taken the long awaited step of upgrading its keyword research tool. The tool is now available to the general public and provides data on the search volumes of a particular keyword, as well as the advertiser competition on
Adwords.
In the more recent updates, Google has added '
global search volumes' and peak search volume periods over a specified time period.
This will hopefully give advertisers more detailed market information to make more informed decisions on their keyword targeting.
