Google updates Adwords keyword research tool

Search giant Google has taken the long awaited step of upgrading its keyword research tool. The tool is now available to the general public and provides data on the search volumes of a particular keyword, as well as the advertiser competition on Adwords.

In the more recent updates, Google has added 'global search volumes' and peak search volume periods over a specified time period.

This will hopefully give advertisers more detailed market information to make more informed decisions on their keyword targeting.
