Imagine our surprise when we logged into a clients
Google Ad Words account to find that the bill was somewhere in the region of $27.7 MILLION for a mere 51 clicks over the past week or so.
Here's what we saw:

Even if we were bidding for a million terms like
Britney Spears and
Harry Potter, we wouldn't be expecting that kind of bill!
Fortunately it seems we're not alone. A number of posts have popped up in industry chat rooms with an initial "please tell me it's not just me!" message followed by numerous sympathisers like "I'm glad I have a platinum card" and "Is this their idea of raising revenue?"
Obviously just a hitch with the billing software so its not time to leave the country just yet!
