16 June 2003Google 'Esmeralda' update is here at last
After months of
Google shakiness, the new data is finally available
It's well known that Google has been doing some considerable spring-cleaning in recent months. Much has been discussed about the anti-spam techniques being integrated, as well as regional results improvements and much more.
And the new data is finally online,
webmasters across the world are checking their site rankings, and discussing success, or holding their heads in their hands.
Results are still varying considerably till all the datacentres get in tune, but it looks like www2 and www-fi Googles had the new data first.
It ends a lot of the misery cased by the last update, nicknamed 'Dominic' on Webmasterworld, which saw old site rsults show, and great frustration between site owners.
