Inktomi's New Cluster Update Enhances User Satisfaction

Changes are (at last) afoot at Inktomi.

The search provider - which provides second and third tier results for some of the most popular search properties has conducted a major database overhaul to enhance the search experience.

And it's not just searchers who are happy - bigmouthmedia's client logs are showing an average of a 30% increase in Inktomi fed traffic - overnight!

Inktomi had lost some ground over recent months, losing a number of major partnerships and receiving criticism for failing to index the quantities of pages achieved by Alltheweb and Google.

But it looks like they're back with a vengeance!
