Lycos.com has upgraded its news service to offer up-to-the-minute news, http://news.lycos.com.
The site updates every minute with news feeds from over 3,000 news sites.
With news topics including 'odd news', and the usual 'science', 'technology', 'sport' etc, it is a good source of world news.
The site is perhaps a little irritating though, as it carries a large 'casino' popup advert - not really what you are looking for when you are looking for the days news....

Interestingly, from today, Lycos.com no longer redirects to the Lycos UK homepage for UK searchers. Instead it redirects after a search is performed.
