Kelkoo have signed up to power MSN shopping channel across the whole of Europe in a new deal struck between the two organisations this week.The combination of Kelkoo's shopping search engine technology with and MSN's market leading market reach is expected to create new opportunities for online retailers. However, MSN is entering an increasingly competitive market, already occupied by Yahoo's (http://shopping.yahoo.com / ) extensive shopping network and new kid (and tongue twister) on the block Google's Foogle (http://froogle.google.com / ), expected out of beta stage any day now.
Nevertheless, both Yahoo and Kelkoo are upbeat, describing the new arrangement as "win-win across the board". The service already has proved itself, following an 11 month test between the two companies in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
