12 May 2003Reality TV - more important than disease and death?
While Internet searchers in the States concentrate their search efforts on
SARS, we Brits seem content to research a handful of grubby D-List celebs co-habit with petshop rats in the jungle.
I'm a celebrity get me out of here was the 2nd most popular search in the UK last week.
It seems we're also obsessing over
'The Sun',
'David Beckham',
'Alton Towers' and
'Manchester United'Incidentally the Red Devils are by a long shot the most searched footie team, with
Arsenal FC trailing a few paces behind.
Interest in
Harry Potter seems to be increasing ahead of the launch of the next installment, and
Eastenders again leads the way for soap related searches.
Print-wise,
The Guardian leads the way, and in the busy world of gaming console searches
PlayStation 2 continues to be the fave.
Music taste differences between the US and UK are apparent too, with
Justin Timberlake the top artist search here, and
50Cent making a splash stateside.
