Email more stressful than divorce?

A study by Dynamic Markets has gained an insight into our dependancy on email. At least 75 percent of firms acknowledge that e-mail is a business-critical application. Dependency among staff hits close to 100 percent.

One in five staff freak out instantly if they can't use their email, while an hour of email downtime would bring 82% of staff to the brink of revolt.

While UK executives remain cooler than their US counterparts, 17% admit they couldn't cope without email for longer than an hour.
