Silence on the Yahoo/Google Renewal Question...

July 1st was originally understood to be the date that Yahoo! would decide whether it would keep going steady with Google but at the eleventh hour, the decision date was changed to 1st September...and they're keeping it a clisely guarded secret - there's a deathly silence on the subject so far.

Yahoo's fallthrough were provided by Inktomi until 1st July 2000, when Yahoo! and Google announced their partnership.

Recently rumours have abounded that Yahoo! is doing a bit of Search Supplier window shopping and has a particular interest in Fast, but they're still keeping the Search Engine world waiting with bated breath.
