Perhaps the most obvious part of the SEO process is submission. There are many tools available to help you submit to thousands of "search engines" around the globe with one simple click of a button.
If only it were that easy. The software just described can fall into one of two categories. Legitimate submission software, which has since been abused by a minority of users attempting over-submission, and subsequently causing the software to be banned by the search engines. Or worse still, the second category of this software may submit your email address to the database of email spammers anywhere around the globe, as well as it having the same problems as that faced by the first category of submission software.
Submission really has to be done manually in order that control is maintained over the submission process, and to ensure that there is no possibility of inadvertent spam.
