Yahoo! and Rhapsody have worked together to bring music right into your search results. When you search for an artist you are presented with a box with links to videos by that artist and the chance to listen to a selection of full length tracks. Once a track is selected a music player pops out at the bottom letting you listen right there in the search results.

You are limited to listening to 25 full tracks a month, though once these have been used you may still listen to 30 second samples. The number of tracks you can listen to is not reduced until you listen to over a minute, giving you the chance to find that song you were really after. Users can also subscribe to Rhapsody Unlimited to gain unlimited plays along with other benefits.
Currently there are about 5 million tracks available so you might not find the artists or track you're after but this new feature could give Yahoo! an edge over Google and Microsoft Live. Much like Google's universal search box, this new feature will work to keep users within Yahoo! and should give Rhapsody a boost in users - and with big names getting geared up for music streaming this new arrangement could be just what Rhapsody and Yahoo! need.
