Yahoo! expands US real estate estimates

Yahoo! expands US real estate estimates Yahoo! Real Estate has expanded its US offerings, adding property value estimates from Reply! and eppraisal.com.

Now users will be able to compare property prices using the new home valuation experts as sources, along with the existing Zillow service.

Yahoo! Real Estate is an online resource which allows users to compare, contrast and explore homes using appropriate tools and information.

Real Estate consumers need only put in a home address and can receive home valuations instantly.

Michael Yang, general manager of Yahoo! Real Estate, said: "Yahoo! Real Estate is dedicated to delivering comprehensive real estate resources and information on the Web.

"For our Home Values Centre we brought together the top home valuation data from across the web, including eppraisal.com, so that our users can have immediate access to key home valuation information."

Damian Scott, president and chief executive of eppraisal.com, revealed he was excited to partner with such a successful real estate site.

"This partnership is a testament to our strategy of delivering credible information and resources to consumers so that they can make more informed real estate decisions," he added.

Reply.com revealed that it can offer consumers support over "virtually any property in America", not only providing home valuation but maps, aerial photographs, square footage and valuable tax data.

Sean Fox, executive vice president of business development at Reply!, commented: "Yahoo! is one of the most recognised brands on the internet and we're privileged to join forces with them to enrich the real estate consumers' online experience."
